In April 2009 I became a fully qualified Teacher of Dance I did my NQT Year at the Charlton School after passing my GTP with the Robert Own and Charlton in School 2008.
I have been teaching dance to young people since 2007 over the past three years I have experience in teaching young people from the age of Three to Eighteen, this has included a wide range of dance styles and shoes.
I graduated from the University of Wolverhampton with a B.A honours in dance practice and performance in 2006. As part of my studies at the University of Wolverhampton I have performed with a dance company at the Patrick Centre Birmingham. In the cheerleading team we won the cheerleading University Championships 2006.
After leaving school in 2000 I studied at the Shrewsbury College of Arts and Technology for three years. Over the three years I did a BTEC first diploma in Performing Arts and a BTEC National diploma in Dance.
From a very young age I have loved to dance and spent most if not all of my Childhood at the Carmichael School of Dance. Where I have taken exams in R.A.D and I.S.T.D Ballet, Modern and Jazz Awards. Also in this time I have performed in Coppelia, Sleeping Beauty, La Fille Mal Gardee, A musical theatre showcase, Fame and Born To Be Wild.
