21/2 hours £7.50p weekly . per 4 weeks £28. The workshop runs weekly on Monday evenings and gives members an opportunity to develop skills across three disciplines of dance, drama and singing . All the activities are fun and enjoyable, but also encourage the group to progress and develop.
Dance skills are based within Jazz, Commercial/ Street and Theatre styles and include work in combination steps, physiology and performance routines. Each stage continues to build and develop knowledge and understanding in an interesting and enjoyable way. Monday 5pm to 6pm In
Drama members explore a number of techniques in group and solo work, games and other activities. These activities are fun and confidence building Monday 6pm to 7pm
Singing skills are taught. In singing we explore a range a repertoire including both modern and contemporary music and songs from the shows. 7pm to 7.30pm incorporating performance skills.
At the end of every Monday Workshop students have the opportunity to perform in front of their peers. For the last 5 minutes of each session parents are invited in to watch. This gives the parents a chance to appreciate the skills their children are learning.Whilst giving confidence to students and also enhancing their performance skills.
